Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy Challenges BRS to Suspend Him

Former MP from Khammam and Ex-BRS leader, Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy on Monday challenged BRS leadership to suspend him after about 20 of his followers were suspended from BRS.

Speaking to reporters, he said, ‘’Until recently, I was invited to party functions. I was requested and urged to make your party win. We hoped that if Telangana is formed, lives will change and jobs will come but you just promised houses for bye-elections, showed them glitzy dreams and built two houses for the sake of it. Podu land issue and other tribal issues have not been resolved.’’

He further said, ‘’Not a single rupee of unemployment benefit was given. Gram panchayats have no funds and sarpanches are in debt. CM KCR has promised to give Rs 10 lakhs to each panchayat. The old bills of panchayats have not been cleared. What do you want the sarpanches to do? You turned golden Telangana with riches into a poor state.’’
