YS Jagan condoles poet Avantsa Somasundar’s demise

Hyderabad: YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday expessed deep condolences on the demise of freedom fighter, eminent poet, critic and progressive author Avantsa Somasunder. He said Somasundar was a great poet, who enlivened the Telugu literature.

In a statement, YS Jagan said Somasundar wrote close to 80 books and his anthology of poems Vajrayudham depicted the plight of the people during the despotic Nizam. He said the book chronicled the anti-Nizam struggle waged by the people.
