Hyderabad Cop Attempts Suicide Angered Over Transfer

HYDERABAD: Upset over his transfer an Assistant Sub-Inspector of police attempted  to commit sucide by set himself on fire, on Friday near a police station.

According to the reports, Narasimha who works as Sub-Inspector in Balapur station under Rachakonda Police Commissionerate became upset with his recent transfer. He climbed onto a water tank, poured kerosene on himself and set himself afire. Other police officers who noticed his suicide attempt doused the flames and rushed him to Apollo DRDO Hospital, and his condition is critical.

He was recently transferred to Manchal police station under Cyberabad Commissionerate.
