AskKTR Interactive Session on Twitter

Hyderabad: Telangana Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD), Information Technology (IT) and NRI Affairs, K. Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) attended an interactive session #AskKTR with his Twitter followers today. The popular minister took questions for more than an hour from his followers in what was only the second time that he interacted with public on the microblogging site.

The IT Minister launched the interactive session in December last year, when he some of the challenging questions with ease. However, in today's #AskKTR session, he chose to be neutral over some political questions.

When asked to choose between Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) and former united Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy (YSR) as the best Chief Minister, KTR played safe by leaving it to the public.

Recently, Government of India's ‘Ease of Doing Business’ index for States saw Andhra Pradesh topping the list, while Telangana came second, losing the top spot with a narrow margin. When a follower asked KTR's opinion on it, the IT minister congratulated AP for the achievement.

KTR chose to pitch for the underdogs for arguably the global question of the day today, who will win the World Cup--France or Croatia?

One follower asked KTR to contest from Hyderabad in the 2019 elections. However, KTR said he would be loyal to the people of Sircilla, the constituency he represents in the Telangana legislative Assembly.

KTR said Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar are his all time favourite cricketers, Messi his favourite footballer, and Federer his favourite tennis player.
