Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao are likely to meet in Hyderabad on June 28 and 29 to discuss Godavari water sharing for both the states.
A team of irrigation officials including special AP Chief Secretary (Irrigation) is also likely to attend the meet.
The two leaders recently met in Amaravati and held preliminary discussion on how to utilise the Godavari waters. The leaders agreed to utilise 1,480 tmc ft of Godavari water and 811 tmc ft of Krishna water allocated to the combined AP.
Now, both the CMs are likely to have another round of talks in Hyderabad. Later, officials will have another round of talks in Vijayawada.
