Nizamabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi slams caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao "The chief minister of this state is walking in the footsteps of Congress. “He thinks that if Congress can win elections without doing anything, he too can do it. But he must know that youth of the state are aware of the ground realities." The Prime Minister was addressing a public meeting in Nizamabad, his first in Telangana ahead of the upcoming elections.

He added, "Telangana chief minister and his family think they can rule without doing any work like the Congress did for years," . He also took names of the TRS and Congress claiming them as a family rule. "TRS and Congress are family-ruled parties playing a friendly match in Telangana polls," he said.

Talking about Nizamabad, he said, "The CM had said he will transform Nizamabad into London city. But look at the condition of this region. The place lacks basic facilities like water, roads and power."

PM Modi took a dig at the TRS government regarding the Ayushmaan Bharat scheme launched by the Modi govenrment in September. According to this scheme medical facilities will be extended to the poor, in need of it.

"Telangana CM did not join Ayushman Bharat scheme because he feels insecure. The scheme was launched two months ago and three lakh families have availed its benefits. Serious operations have been done, people's lives have been saved. Yet, not a single person from Telangana has availed its benefits.Your CM is responsible for it," said PM Modi.

Quoting reports that the Congress was including separate schools and hospitals for Muslims, in their manifesto Modi said the only mantra followed by BJP was "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas" and was against vote bank politics.
