Ruckus in TS assembly over farm loans

The issue of crop loan waiver and the power crisis in the farm sector rocked the Telangana assembly on Monday.

While Oppostion Congress and TDP attacked the TRS government and charged it with failing to fulfill promises given to the farm sector, the ruling TRS argued that it was committed to fulfil all assurances.TDP's Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Congress Party's Jeevan Reddy and Chinna Reddy said that the government had failed to address the problems of the farm sector. Question Hour became a platform for the Oppositon to criticize the Government for  its actions and failure to fulfill promises.

Telangana Minister Harish Rao however clarified that teh TRS government was fulfing every promise made in the Election Manifesto.  Instead of answering the query, Harish Rao asked the TDP leaders as to why their government in AP has not waived the crop and DWCRA loans.

"We stand by our words and are not going to go back like the AP government" said Harish Rao
In his reply chief minister KCR announced that the TS government will waive loans amounted to 17000 crore. KCR said that A.P. government till now didnt even spend a single paisa on waiving off Loans. He informed the fellow MLA's that RBI is not giving consent for re-scheduling yet Telangana State government was trying its best.
