Rs 6 lakh ex-gratia paid to blast victim’s family

An ex-gratia of Rs 6 lakh on Tuesday was paid to Sujatha, wife of Nakka Venkateswarlu, Animal husbandry official, who was killed in the Dilshuknagar blast.

Dr Anantam, Regional Joint Director (RJD) of Animal Husbandry, handed over a cheque at her residence at Usmangharh, Saidabadu mandal. He said the compensation was paid as per the directives of the District Collector of Ranga Reddy district. The RJD said employment would be provided to the wife of the deceased.
