Hyderabad: The political temperature is set to heat up as major political parties in Telangana are going full throttle to lure the voters. BRS, Congress and BJP were waiting for the Dussehra festivities to get over. Telangana chief minister and BRS supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao will resume his election campaign from Achampet, Nagarkurnool district from tomorrow, October 26.

During his second leg poll campaign, KCR will address 30 public meetings across three assembly constituencies — Achampet, Munugode and Wanaparthy. The BRS leader will take part in electioneering over the next 13 days. On October 27, he will address election rallies at Mahabubabad, Paleru and Wardhannapet. He will also cover the remaining constituencies in the third leg, however, the schedule is not fixed yet.

KCR kickstarted his election campaign from Husnabad on October 15. As part of the first leg election campaign, he addressed seven public meetings over the next three days. On November 9, the BRS chief will offer prayers at a local temple in Siddipet before filing his nominations at Gajwel and Kamareddy constituencies.

Meanwhile, Telangana Congress is also preparing to launch the second phase of the bus yatra next month. Recently, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi embarked on a three-day campaign trail in Telangana. As part of Congress’ Vijayabheri yatra, Rahul addressed several public meetings at Peddapalli, Bhupalpally and Karimnagar districts.
