Teen Girl Dies of Cardiac Arrest in Telangana’s Bhadradri Kothagudem

Bhadradri Kothagudem: After a lull in a series of heart attack-related deaths involving youngsters and students, another case of sudden death was reported in Telangana. A 13-year-old girl died of cardiac arrest at Anantharam village in Bhadradri Kothagudem’ Karakagudem mandal on Friday. 

According to her father Naramdas Venkateswarlu, their eldest daughter Niharika complained of stomach pain and started vomiting  on Friday night. The parent took her to a private hospital in Manuguru town where she was given first aid by the doctors. Niharika collapsed while she was being taken to a hospital in Bhadrachalam. The doctors at the hospital examined her and declared her dead on arrival. They told her father that the girl died due to a massive cardiac arrest. 

Niharika had celebrated her birthday with her friends and family on May 17. The sudden death after two days of her birthday has left everyone in the family shocked. Five years ago, Lavanya, the mother of Niharika, had passed away after suffering a heart attack.
