Telugu NRI Passes Away in USA After Sudden Cardiac Arrest

Concerns are growing within the Telugu diaspora as reports of sudden deaths linked to heart-related conditions continue to surface from abroad. In recent months, several such incidents involving Non-Resident Indians have triggered anxiety, particularly among professionals living and working overseas.

In a heartbreaking development, another Telugu NRI has reportedly passed away in the United States after suffering a sudden cardiac emergency. The deceased has been identified as Ajarattaiah Tellamekala, a software professional residing in Pennsylvania. He had moved to the US around eight months ago and was employed with an IT firm under an H-1B visa.

According to information from close sources, Ajarattaiah experienced severe chest discomfort late at night and was rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment. Doctors were able to revive his heartbeat; however, the extended lack of oxygen reportedly caused serious brain damage. His condition deteriorated further, and he later suffered a fatal cardiac stroke while undergoing treatment.

The untimely death of Ajarattaiah has deeply saddened his friends, colleagues, and members of the Telugu community in the region. Those who knew him described him as a dedicated professional and a compassionate person. He is said to have been the sole earning member of his family, making the loss even more devastating for his loved ones.

Arrangements are currently underway to transport his mortal remains to India so that final rites can be performed in his hometown. Community members and well-wishers are extending support to the bereaved family during this difficult time.
