Komatireddy Venkat Reddy Returns to Telangana a Day Before Munugode Bypoll

Hyderabad: Telangana congress unit star campaigner and Bhongir MP Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy has returned to Telangana after a short vacation in Australia a day before Munugode bypoll. 

The MP was served a show cause notice by the party high command after an audio clip of him seeking colleagues to vote for his brother Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, BJP candidate in Munugode bypoll went viral on social media. 

Venkat Reddy is yet to give reply to the notice. According to his close aides, he was supposed to return to Telangana after the bypoll. But he was here a day before the byelection and at times when Rahul Gandhi led Bharat Jodo Yatra passing through Hyderabad. It is a question now, whether he would join the yatra or not.

Polling for the  high octane Munugode byelection will take place tomorrow, November 3 and the counting of votes will take place on November 6.
