Gold and Silver Prices Today in India Feb 12: Check City-Wise Rates

After touching record levels in January 2026 with a surge of nearly 20 percent, gold prices in India have recently moved lower. The decline became more noticeable following the Union Budget announcement on February 1, presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Within about ten days, bullion rates corrected by over 12 percent, offering some relief to buyers.

On February 12, both gold and silver registered price reductions, reflecting the current trend in the domestic precious metals market.

Latest Gold Prices in India

24-carat gold, known for its high purity and often chosen for investment, is now priced at around ₹15,840 per gram, down by ₹120 compared to the previous day.

22-carat gold, widely used for jewellery, is trading near ₹14,520 per gram, showing a decline of ₹110.

18-carat gold has also become cheaper, currently available at approximately ₹11,880 per gram, marking a fall of ₹90. The drop suggests a cooling phase after the strong rally seen earlier this year.
