Bigg Boss 13 Contestant Shehnaaz Gill’s Father Booked For Rape, Absconding

AMRITSAR: Bigg Boss 13 contestant Shehnaaz Gill’s father has been booked for allegedly raping a 40-year-old woman. The alleged incident took place on May in Amritsar.

Acting upon a complaint from the survivor, Beas police registered a case against Santokh Singh (45) under 376 and 506 sections of IPC for allegedly raping a woman who belongs to Jalandhar. He is currently absconding.

She registered a police complaint against Santokh on May 19 stating that he had raped her at gunpoint in his car in Beas City, Amritsar on May 14.

The victim said that she had gone to Santokh's residence to meet her boyfriend who stays in his house and later Santokh offered her a ride on the pretext of taking her to her boyfriend. He took her near Rohi bridge and allegedly raped her at gunpoint.

She even added that he has threatened to kill her if she told anyone about the rape incident.

After committing the heinous crime, Santokh dropped the woman near her friend's house, she said.

Police went to arrest Santokh at his residence but couldn't find him and he is currently at large.

Police probe is underway.
