Political Conspiracy Behind Sonu Sood IT Raids?

The Income Tax department has intensified its investigations over Bollywood actor Sonu Sood for alleged tax evasion. IT sources say that his residences and offices in Mumbai were simultaneously raided on Friday. It is learned that the raids at various properties owned by the actor Sonu Sood continued for the third day in a row. It is being said that a deal with a real estate firm and few other financial transactions carried out by the actor are under the radar.

Sonu Sood, who has been instrumental in bringing migrants safely to their hometowns during the Corona crisis, has won the hearts of millions. 
Recently, Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal appointed Sonu as the country's mentor on behalf of the Opposition. Speculation is now rife that there are political reasons for the IT department's sudden raids against him.
