Didi Fumes At Senior Cop, Unhappy With Walking The Extra Metres

Bengaluru: HD Kumaraswamy's oath-taking ceremony was not just the show of non-BJP parties' culmination but was also one of arrogance of West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress Chief Mamata Banerjee. Mamata was in Bengaluru on Wednesday to take part in the Karnataka CM oath-taking ceremony. For security reasons all the cars were asked to stop few meters away from the main venue. Like all the others Mamata was also made to walk a few meters. This irked the TMC Chief and she immediately reprimanded the top cop.

Mamata Banerjee was forced to walk a small distance to reach the Vidhana Soudha for the swearing-in. Visibly annoyed Mamata reprimanded Director General and Inspector General of Police (DG-IGP) Neelamani N Raju for this, according to an ANI report. She also expressed her displeasure to former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda and his son Kumaraswamy.

In a video, a perturbed Mamata was seen gesturing her dismay to the female top cop. While proceeding towards the seating area, Mamata was seen once again in conversation with other leaders present there, in a disturbed manner, but went on to greet the dignitaries at the dais and the audience at the venue, after apparently being pacified by Deve Gowda and other leaders.
