Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar's tweet landed him in soup. He tweeted a map of India that did not have Telangana state. As part of the promotion of national level hackathon beginning on April 1, the minister posted India map showing the centres where the hackathon would be held.

Soon after the tweet, the minister was bombarded with tweeple questioning him as to why Telangana was missed out. Telangana was formed in 2014. The blooper also reached Nizamabad MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha, who tweeted, "Is this official map published by HRD ministry?"
