
Former Central minister Jaffer Sharief died this morning. He was 85. He was battling age related issues, according to reports. It is said that he was taken to a private hospital this morning. But the after minister breathed his last while being treated.
Sharief held the railway portfolio unde PV Narasimha Rao regime. He was said to be close to Indira Gandhi too. Several politicians have offered their condolences to the family of Jaffer Sharief.
