Man Forced To Lick Spit For Entering A Home Without Knocking On Door

Bihar: In a shocking incident, a person from Nai caste was made to lick his own spit for entering into the house of the local sarpanch.

Shocking pictures have surfaced from Bihar's Nalanda district showing an elderly man, who was forced to lick his own spit for entering the home of a sarpanch without knocking on the door. The victim, Mahesh Thakur, was also beaten with slippers for 25 times by sarpanch Surendra Yadav's henchmen.

Nalanda District Magistrate Thiyagarajan said that, Thakur went to the sarpanch's house on Wednesday night for tobacco and entered the house when no male members were present at that time. “He has been humiliated for entering into the house without permission and at a time when no male member was around," said Thiyagaranjan.

The incident caught Bihar minister Nand Kishore's attention and he responded to it saying that such incidents will not be tolerated and stringent action will be taken. Thakur hails from Nai community and works as a barber. The minister said that an investigation has been launched and a detailed report would soon be given seen on the issue.
