Box Office: NGK First Day Collections: Suriya Movie Begins On High Note

Suriya starrer 'NGK' has opened to a phenomenal response at the box office. It took to a flying start at the box office. The movie received mixed reviews from critics and public alike. Suriya fans can't stop praising the film.

Congrlaution messages are pouring in from all quarters for his amazing performance in NGK. Rakul Preet and Sai Pallavi made everyone sit up and take notice of their powerful roles in the movie which won huge accolades and applause from one and all.

Sadly, the movie got leaked on online torrent sites which could impact the box office collections. This is not the first time as many new releases in the past month such as 'Maharshi', 'Kalank' among others met with the same fate.

Talking about 'NGK' collections, it is believed to have earned Rs 15 Cr approximately on opening day at the box office.

It is going great guns in the international markets which went on to earn a staggering amount of $84 k. It is even roaring at Chennai box office but it would take some time for the film to earn big bucks. The exact figures of all locations are yet to be known.

NGK, which is produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, is expected to become the third biggest opener after Rajinikanth's Petta and Ajith Kumar's Viswasam. Directed by Selvaraghavan, NGK is a political action-drama and features Suriya in an intense role.
