Box Office: Maharshi Day 23 Collections: Mahesh Movie Refuses To Slow Down

Superstar Mahesh Babu's latest outing 'Maharshi' refuses to slow down at the box office. It has broken major box office records in three weeks of its release. Still, the audiences are encouraging the film as they have connected to the story. The film is a realistic story which is the reason for the positive response among the audience. 'Maharshi' is the first highest grossing films of this year.

'Maharshi' is going to compete with Suriya's 'NGK' from this week which released on May 31 in theatres. 'Maharshi' has managed to earn approximately Rs 1.5 Cr on its 23rd day at the box office. The total gross of the movie would be crossing Rs 180 Cr but is not confirmed by filmmakers.

On the career front, Mahesh Babu's new project titled 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' was launched on the occasion of veteran actor Superstar Krishna's birthday.

The principal shooting of 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' will commence by the end of this month. Rashmika has been roped in to play a love interest of Mahesh Babu. It wouldn't be wrong, if we said, Rashmika hit a jackpot with Mahesh Babu film. She got a chance to work with him very early in her career, which is rare for an actress.
