Kangana Ranaut To Overtake Prabhas In Remuneration?
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is currently on cloud nine over the tremendous success of her latest movie 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi'. Kangana is making her way to become the highest paid star in B-town.
She will be very soon seen in reprising the role of Tamil Nadu Ex-Chief Minister Jayalalitha which will be simultaneously shot in Tamil and Hindi. Few of the Bollywood filmmakers don’t want to work with her for unknown reasons. But, she bagging back to back projects has left her peers in a bit of awe and shock.
She is going great guns in her career. Currently, Kangana is taking the internet by storm and all are talking about the remuneration she has charged for her next movie.
A source has spilled the beans that Kangana is getting paid Rs 24 Cr for the bilingual project. Titled Thalaivi in Tamil and Jaya in Hindi, the film will be directed by Vijay and written by KV Vijayendra Prasad.
Looks like, with this project, Kangana is all set to overtake Prabhas’ remuneration. According to a reliable source, Prabhas received a whopping amount Rs 25 Cr as paycheque for the Baahubali series. In this context, Kangana will walk away with a way fatter pay cheque and a bit equal to Prabhas’ last movie Salary.
It is also the highest amount that has ever been paid to any Indian actress for an Indian film. The duo was featured in 'Ek Niranjan' which did extremely well at the box office. It was released in a way back of 2009.
Meanwhile, Kangana and Prabhas are busy with their respective projects. Prabhas is waiting for 'Saaho' and 'Jaan' to open in theatres which would be released in later part of the year.
