2018 Biggest Box Office Disasters in Bollywood 

Thugs Of Hindostan: Thugs Of Hindostan was a period film and one of the biggest releases in India's as well the biggest Bollywood disasters this year. The film released amid great expectations but the film didn't do well at the box office and became a failure. Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh play the lead roles in the film.

The film was produced with a whopping budget of Rs 350 crores but collected Rs 262 crores from across the world. The film was produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj films which is a prestegious production company. The film was released on 8 November 2018.

Race 3: Race 3 is an action entertainer which was another disater this year made with a budget of Rs 185 crores but collected Rs 170 crores. Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez are in lead roles and Bobby deol played a key role in the film.

Race 3 was directed by Remo D'Souza and jointly produced by Ramesh S Taurani and Salman Khan. The movie was relased on June 15 2018.

Namaste England: Arjun Kapoor's recent film Namaste England is a romantic comedy which failed to impress the audience and remained a flop movie. The film was made with Rs 54 crores and collected Rs 9 crores. Parineeti Chopra is the female lead in the film which is directed by Vipul Amrutal Shah and produced by Reliance Entertainment. Namaste England was released on 18th October 2018.

Batti Gul Meter Chalu: This Shree Narayan Singh's directorial is rated as one of the biggest disasters. Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam are the main leads. The film was produced by Bhushan Kumar with a budget of Rs 49 crores and the box office collections weee Rs 37 crore. It was released on September 21st 2018.

Aiyaary: Aiyaary released amid huge expectations but failed at the box office. Sidharth Malhotra, Manoj Bajpai and Pooja Chopra are the main leads of the film. It was Jointly produced by Shital Bhatia and Dhaval Jayantilal Gada. This film was made on a budget of Rs 65 crore and collected Rs 18 crores. Aiyaary was released on 16th Febraury 2018.

Fanney Khan: Fanney Khan is a Indian musical comedy which was directed by Atul Manjrekar and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Anil Kapoor. The movie was made with a budget of Rs 39 crores and collected Rs 10 crores. Fanney Khan starred Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai and Rajkumar Rao. It was released on August 3rd, 2018.

Paltan: Paltan is a Indian war film directed by JP Dutta and produced by Zee studios. The film has a cast of Jackie Shroff, Arjun Rampal, Sonu Sood, Gurmeet Choudhary and Harshvardhan Rane. It was made with a budget of Rs 15 crores and the box office collections were Rs 8 crore. Paltan was released on September 7, 2018.

Happy Phirr Bhaag Jayegi: Happy Phirr Bhaag Jayegi is a comedy film starring Diana Penty and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles. Mudassar Aziz is the director of this film which is produced by Eros International with a budget of Rs 30 crore and collected Rs 20 crore. This was released on August 24th, 2018.

Kaalakandi: Kaalakandi is a dark comedy film directed by Akshat Verma and produced by Cinestaan Film Company Pvt ltd. Saif Ali Khan was in a lead role. The film was made with a budget of Rs 18 crore and had collected Rs 5 crore. It was released on 12 January, 2018.

Omerta: Omerta is an Indian biographical crime drama film directed by Hansal Mehta. Rajkumar Rao played the role of Ahmed Saeed Sheikh, a british terrorist of Pakistani descent. The film had collected Rs 3 crores while it was made with a budget of Rs 12 crores. Omerta was released on 4 May, 2018.
