Tamil Nadu: A girl killed her mother with the help of boyfriend. According to the police, the accused Devi Priya (19) lived with her sister Chamundeswari (24), her parents Tirumugan Nadhan (65) and mother Bhanumati. Devi Priya is pursuing her B.com second year at a private college in Pattabhiram.

Meanwhile, she fell in love with a boy who she connected with on Facebook. On Monday, she attempted to leave the house with money and gold. But when her mother stopped her, Devi Priya along with her lover's friend brutally killed Bhanumati.

The police arrested Devi Priya and interrogated her. During the investigation, she tried to mislead the police with some irrelevant information. When she said that she was in love with Vivek, the police traced his number and learned that he was not her lover. When the police interrogated her unrelentingly she confessed to the crime.

According to her confessional statement, Devi Priya and Suresh were seeing each other for the last six months. "I met him three times. When my parents came to know about the matter, they warned me not to meet him again. But I decided to marry him. Then we took Vivek's help who is a friend of Suresh. On Monday evening, we were supposed to leave the house with gold and cash but when my mother objected, we killed her," she said. On Tuesday morning, the police went to Sri City and arrested Suresh.
