This Gujarat Family Suicide Similar To Burari Mass Suicide

Ahmedabad: In shocking discovery, a businessman's family was found dead by the police at their residence here in the city. According to reports, Kunal Trivedi (45), his wife Kavita Trivedi (45) and their 16-year-old daughter were found dead inside a bedroom in the house, while Jayshreeben, the 75-year-old mother of the businessman was found in an unconscious state when the police broke open the house's door. The police were alerted when relatives of the family got suspicious after none of the family members answered phone calls. A suicide note that cited ''dark forces'' behind the deaths was found in the spot.

In the suicide note, Kunal wrote in Hindi that the lack of trust in him by his mother prompted him to take the extreme step. "Although everyone called me an alcoholic, I never drank out of my will. Mother, you did not understand me, the dark forces had control over me. If you believed me, things would have not been the same," he wrote in the note. Kunal was found hanging from a ceiling fan while his wife and daughter were found lying on the floor dead. However, it is not clear whether the three committed suicide or Kunal killed the two before committing suicide.

Police officer HB Vaghela said that the bodies have been sent for autopsy and a conclusion would be drawn based on the report. Jayshreeben is receiving treatment in a local hospital.
