Conmen Cheat Man Promising Medical Seat

Hyderabad: A complaint of cheating was filed against two men in Panjagutta police station on Saturday. The victim said he was cheated by two men who promised a seat for his son in a medical college in Bengaluru.

According to the complaint given by P Changal Rayudu, the suspects Shashank Shekar and Dinesh Singh had promised a seat for Rayudu's son in Vydehi Medical college, Bengaluru. The duo told him to pay Rs 52 lakh for the medical seat. He had initially paid Rs 1 lakh in two installments as advance and a Rs 20 lakh in two installments.

Once the payment was made, Rayudu was asked to come along with his son for Bengaluru. After the victim reached Bengaluru with his son, they called the suspects and found their mobiles were switched off. The victim realized that he was cheated and lodged a complaint with the Panjagutta police.
