Chalo Delhi on Feb 20 to Seek Justice for Rohit Vemula

Hyderabad: Student Joint Action Committee (JAC) has called for 'Chalo Delhi' programme on February 20 to protest the Central government's indifference to the suicide of University of Hyderabad (UoH) student Rohit Vemula.
At a meeting of JAC members in the UoH campus on Wednesday, it was resolved to conduct the 'Chalo Delhi' programme to demand action against union ministers Smiriti Irani, Bandaru Dattatreya and UoH vice chancellor Appa Rao. Students from several universities in the country are expected to take part in the programme. A bus yatra will also be organsied in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states on February 8 to highlight the issue, the JAC said.
