Video Suicide Prank With Friend Turns Real For Tirupati Youth

Tirupati: A 25-year-old was found dead after a bizarre suicide prank turned real. The incident took place at Damineedu colony in Tiruchanoor near Tirupati on Sunday.

Going into details, the deceased, identified as Siva Kumar worked at a local automobile store. Late on Sunday night, he attempted a suicide prank with his friend on a video call at his residence.

According to the police, Siva Kumar was in a highly inebriated state when he called his friend and told him that he was going to commit suicide. During the video call, Siva Kumar tied one end of a saree to his neck and the other end to the ceiling.

However, his friend didn't take Siva Kumar's actions seriously. Within minutes, Siva Kumar was seen trying to loosen the noose around his neck but failed and was strangulated to death.

Witnessing this, his friend immediately informed the police. A case has been registered and the police shifted the body to the government medical hospital for post-mortem.
