TDP Deleting Names Of YSRCP Leaders From Voters List

Anantapur: YSR Congress Party(YSRCP) leader and former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy filed a complaint with the police against the Telugu Desam Party(TDP) applicants, who were responsible for the deletion of his name from the list of voters in Pulivendula, on Monday.

YS Vivekananda Reddy is a two time MP and MLA. He is the brother of former Chief Minister late Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy and uncle of the leader of opposition Andhra Assembly and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Currently, he is in-charge of the Pulivendula constituency. Vivekananda Reddy stated in the complaint that unidentified persons had made Form-7 applications on his behalf requesting for his name to withdraw from the voters' list.

Later talking to the media he said, “TDP is scared of losing the elections and has come up with a plan to delete names of YSRCP leaders and supporters from voters lists across the state,” he said and was left in shock after learning that his name had been deleted.

YSRCP leader complained to the Pulivendula police regarding the issue on Monday. He requested the police for a thorough probe in the case, and to get hold of the main culprits led by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s son Lokesh. Urban police registered a case based on the complaint. Later Kadapa SP Rahuldev Sharma responded over the complaint and added that the probe is on. “Anyone can approach the police if they notice a conspiracy to delete names of voters from the list,”said Kadapa SP.

Meanwhile, manhunt by Telangana Police is on for the CEO of IT Grids company, behind the deletion of votes scam.
