Guntur: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Andhra Pradesh unit Chief Kanna Lakshmi Narayana today criticized Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu saying he had lost his mental balance and one should not get surprised if he roamed the streets bare-bodied like a madman. Speaking at a press conference here today over the Telugu Desam Party's (TDP) alliance with the Congress, he demanded an explanation to the public from Chandrababu. It appears that Chandrababu struck a secret pact with the Congress during the State bifurcation, he remarked. "How can they go for family tours to Polavaram on public money?" he asked.

Lakshmi Narayana said minister Paritala Sunitha should introspect on the progress in Rayalaseema region in the last four years. Adding that Chandrababu was doing nothing but business in the name of capital city, he alleged that the TDP Chief was claiming credit for the Centrally-funded Polavaram project. CS Dinesh Kumar's comments are an example of Chandrababu's oppurtunism, he mentioned.

"The TDP leaders are spreading false propaganda by morphing the speeches of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and current Prime Minister Narendra Modi," he felt.

The BJP Chief wrote a letter to the MD of a newspaper which published a fake story saying he condemned the report which was baseless. "It seems as if this story had been written based on a day dream. I hope you accept the truth in it," he wrote.
