Bengaluru: AB de Villiers' popularity and fan following need no introduction. Currently, he is busy in RCB''s IPL 2018 campaign, in which de Villiers has just started to hit his golden run of big scores.

On Wednesday, de Villiers made news when he, along with his wife and son, went out for a ride after the match in an auto-rickshaw in the city.

Fans who were thrilled to find de Villiers in the vehicle, followed him by chanting slogans of "Ee Sala Cup Namdhe," which translates to "the cup is ours this time." The RCB theme for IPL 2018 has attracted the interest of local fans here, with captain Virat Kohli desperately trying to win his first IPL trophy.
