65-Year-Old Held For Sexual Assault On 5-Yr Girl

Hyderabad: Kushaiguda police arrested a 65-year-old man on Monday for sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl at an apartment complex in Cherlapally area.
The residents of the apartment saw the accused, Krishnaiah, misbehaving with the minor girl in cellar. The accused was beaten up by the residents and was later handed over to police.
The accused came to visit his daughter who stays at the same apartment in Cherlapally.
A case has been registered under sections 354 (assault or use of criminal force to outrage the modesty of a woman) of the IPC and section 65 of the POCSO Act.
