Rangasthalam, Bharat Ane Nenu, Mahanati Set US Box Office On Fire

The first quarter of 2018 has begun on a grand note for Tollywood with back to back blockbusters like Rangasthalam, Bharat Ane Nenu and Mahanati. It has been proved time and again that content is the king of box office. So far, recent telugu releases Rangasthalam, Bharat Ane Nenu, Mahanati have emerged as highest grossing films in first quarter of 2018. And guess what this is not just the case in India. Rangasthalam, Bharat Ane Nenu, Mahanati have Set the US Box Office On Fire too.

Rangasthalam: The film is directed by Sukumar which also features Ram Charan and Samantha in the lead roles. It is rural revenge drama set in the 80s where Charan is seen playing a hearing impaired person. It's been over a month and half that the film hit theatres and the film is also available for free streaming on Amazon Prime Video which paid a whopping price to grab the rights. But Rangasthalam is still raking moolah at the box office even after the completion of 50 days.

Bharat Ane Nenu: Mahesh Babu-Koratala Siva associated for the second time for this film. They have made us believe if that whenever they join hands, it would be a blockbuster hit at the box office without any doubt. Earlier, Srimanthudu and now Bharat Ane Nenu have become successful money spinners at the box office. Audiences have loved Mahesh Babu in Chief Minister's role and the ticking box office figures are a testimony to that.

Mahanati: Keerthy Suresh has been receiving accolades from all corners. Her performance in the film has been lauded by all sections of people and fans are raving about her. This is being hailed as Keerthy Suresh's finest performances till date. Mahanati tells the story of yesteryear actress Savitri and her rise to stardom.

A reliable source fom the industry informs us that Rangasthalam, Bharat Ane Nenu, Mahanati have done $9 million business at the overseas box office which is a rare feat for films to achieve at the USA box office.
