Hyderabad: The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has announced a three-point agenda that will be implemented in the 60 days prior to the padayatra of party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The announcement follows a high-level party meeting chaired by YS Jagan and attended by 175 constituency incharges at the Raavi Narayana Reddy, here on Monday. The minutes of the meeting were enumerated by YSRCP MLA Umareddy Venkateshwarulu to the media. They include (1) Navaratna Sabha (2) YSR Kutumbham (3) Vijayashankaravam

1. Navaratna Sabha: In this programme to be held from August 11 to 29, the party's polling booth committee members will visit each and every house in the jurisdiction of a polling booth. They will educate the people and highlight the importance of the "Navaratnas" announced by YS Jagan, Venkateshwarulu said. They will also talk to the people about the failure of the TDP in implementing its election manifesto. Their work will be reviewed by constituency-level convenor of YSRCP.

2. YSR Kutumbham: Essentially a membership-drive, the YSR Kutumbham will be held from September 11 to October 2. Those interested to take membership of YSRCP party will have to give a missed call to the party phone number given by polling booth committee members. In return they will get a recorded voice message from YSRCP chief YS Jagan. Also, party cadres will meet the person and provide enrollment application form and pamphlets with the "Navaratnas" as mentioned by YS Jagan. There will be no enrollment fee for party membership, Umareddy Venkateshwarulu clarified. Party stickers will be pasted for each house that has enrolled during the membership drive.

3. Vijayashankaravam: This programme will be held from October 2 to 25. Party leaders will conduct awareness meetings in the vicinity of every polling booth and explain the importance of the proposed padayatra by YS Jagan.

All the three programmes are expected to be completed by October 26 or 27, before the commencement of the padayatra. The execution of the three-point agenda will be supervised by YSRCP strategist Prashant Kishore and his team, Venkateshwarulu said.
