Youth booked for raping, blackmailing a teenager 

Faridabad: A youth has been booked for allegedly raping and blackmailing a 16-year-old girl here, police said on Tuesday.

The case was registered against Lalit (21), who works at a medical store, on Monday following a complaint by the class XI student, they said.

According to the complaint, Lalit, who often used to tease the girl, had forcefully taken her to his friend Gaurav’s house and raped her last month. He also clicked obscene pictures of hers and threatened to upload them on social media.

Using the pictures, Lalit again raped the girl and threatened to kill her if she files a complaint against him.

Police have initiated a probe into the matter but no arrest has been made so far.
