The fallopian tubes play an important role in the formation of the baby. It is actually the place where the eggs are fertilized. The basic purpose of these tubes is to actually relocate the matured eggs from the ovaries to the uterus where the actual fertilization takes place.

The tubes can be either partly blocked or fully blocked. In cases where the tubes are not fully blocked or damaged, the matured eggs travel through the tubes but face issues with its embedding. There are almost no signs that indicate a blockage in fallopian tubes. However, women with blocked tubes might experience abdominal pain, throbbing pain during periods, or excruciating pain during sexual intercourse but that doesn’t necessarily direct towards only blocked fallopian tubes.
