Vizag Man Threatens To Release Intimate Videos Of Women

Visakhapatnam: In yet another case of women harassment, a man identified as Dadishetti Srinivas Rao has been arrested on Saturday for harassing and blackmailing women to upload their recorded videos on social media. The accused aged 54 operates Invotech Precision Engineers institute which gives training in fire safety.

Srinivas was in the habit of luring women employees and students to his institute. On the pretext of giving jobs and other perks, he traps them. He was also in the habit of recording his sexual escapades. The alleged accused used to demand sexual favors to prevent the video recordings from going public. However the incident came to light after a victim’s husband came to know about his harassment. Subsequently, he approached police who then arrested Srinivas.

“We seized his laptop and found recorded videos of women. He was also involved in similar cases in the past. We want more women to come forward and file complaint against him. He has been sent to remand for 10 days” said a police official.

“The accused himself has two daughters and should be ashamed to do such stuff at his age. We want stringent action against him," said a victim’s husband. Meanwhile, there’s an uproar from the victims after the accused got bail immediately after his arrest.
