Hyderabad: A video of Ghazal Srinivas and his female worker Parvathi forcing the RJ to have sex with him was out even as the accused were sent to jail in sexual harassment case on Tuesday. Ghazal Srinivas has been booked under section 354 and 354A for outraging the modesty of a radio jockey working with his web radio station Aalayavani. His worker Parvathi has also been booked in the case as A2 for pressurizing the victim and helping the accused.

The video, shot by the victim herself with a hidden cam, was submitted to the police, but a copy of which has been reportedly procured by a TV channel.

The victim in her complaint said that Parvathi was asking her to submit herself to Ghazal Srinivas and get settled in life. She reportedly said that Ghazal Srinivas provided her with all the comforts of life and enough money as she was fulfilling his sexual desires.

The Panjagutta police, who conducted a thorough inquiry before taking Ghazal Srinivas into custody, had found all the excesses as narrated by the victim were exactly true. The police also found that Ghazal Srinivas was involved in extra-marital relation with Parvathi who had been working with him for a long time now. Ever since Kumari joined the web radio station Aalayavani running from Venkataramana Colony in Panjagutta last June, Parvathi was pressurizing her to go to his bedroom on some pretext or the other.

The victim told a media channel that Ghazal Srinivas had lured many women to fulfill his desires and would behave lustfully in privacy. "Since he is in a high position, no one would believe me. That's why I wanted to shoot videos to expose his criminal acts," the victim said. "He would call me into his private room within the office and when I enter, he would be almost nude," she said.

The court rejected a bail petition of Ghazal Srinivas and sent him in remand till January 12. The world famous Ghazal renderer spent his first night behind the bars at Chanchalguda jail.

Meanwhile, the police are seeking the custody of Ghazal Srinivas to question him in the case. A bail petition will also be heard by the court on Wednesday.
