Two drown in Kammireddy river in Nizamabad

Two friends who were residents of Devunipalli drowned in the Kamireddy river at Devunipalli in Nizamabad today.

According to the reports, the duo had gone for fishing in the tank. As they could not find any fish, they decided to swim. One body has been fished out from the river, while the other body is yet to be recovered.

It is said that Kamitireddy river, the biggest river in the district, was filled to capacity as water was flown to it through many canals under the lift irrigation, recently.
