Top Five Opening Day Collections In 2017

2017 saw the fortunes of some stars climb to Himalayan heights. For others it's been their time on a game of Bollywood snakes and ladders.

There's no denying however, that all are Bollywood Top stars. As for blockbusters, check this list out:

Baahubali 2: Prabhas was the king of Bollywood box office this year with the film grossing Rs 41 Cr--the highest opener of 2017.

Tiger Zinda Hai: Salman Khan's latest outing Tiger Zinda Hai is ruling the Christmas season at the box office. It has already notched up Rs 33.75 Cr., which gives you an idea of what a chartbuster it is.

Golmaal Again: Ajay Devgn's Golmaal Again is the fourth installment of this popular series and is listed among the highest openers of 2017. The film has racked up Rs 30.14 Cr.

Tubelight: Salman Khan released two movies this year and while Tubelight bombed at the box office, it still managed to rake in Rs 21.15 Cr. Tiger Zinda Hai more than made up for the muted performance of Tubelight.

Raees: Shah Rukh Khan's Raees was appreciated by the critics and public alike and finds a mention in the top movies of the year.
