Unnerved by the huge success of YSRCP chief YS Jagan's Yatra in the AP Capital area, the Telugu Desam Party activists on Saturday tried to conduct a cleansing programme near the temporary secretariat. They even tore down the flexies of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy put up as part of his yatra. Interestingly, this impromptu cleansing programme did not have the police permission
In retaliation, YSRCP activists too took out a rally and cleansed the places visited recently by Chandrababu Naidu with cow dung water and cow urine.
The YSRCP activists said ever since Chandrababu Naidu came to power, the farmers are suffering a lot. The lives of the farmers in the capital region have been utterly disrupted. They said the TDP leaders were duping the farmers and fleecing them.
Interestingly, the police obstructed the YSRCP protests citing that it had no permission. "How did you allow the TDP protests that had no permission," the activists asked. They shouted slogans opposing the police action and entered into heated arguments with the police.
Later, YSRCP leader and former MLA Jogi Ramesh strongly criticised the TDP Government for trying to obstruct the Jagan Yatra. "Should YS Jagan take permission from Chandrababu to tour the AP capital area. Did Chandrababu Naidu take any permission from YS Rajasekhara Reddy, when he toured the state as an Opposition leader?" he asked.
