Telugu Short Film ‘Ranga Deva’ Makes It Big At Asia’s Biggest Filmmaking Challenge

Hyderabad: A Telugu short film titled Ranga Deva has made it big in India Film Project, which is 'Asia's Largest Filmmaking Challenge'. The short film which was directed by Harikanth Gunamagari and his team of technicians from the city won a silver medal. The challenge of the filmmaking event was to shoot and do the post production in 50 hours.

The movie was shot in the state which shows power and innocence’s significance. The film stars Rajanikanth, Arun Ghosh, Bunny Abiran and Deepak. Out of 29,000 entries, only 1,500 were shortlisted and Ranga Deva got into top 10.

“We got a call from organizers asking to come to Mumbai as our film got placed in top 10. But we were still clueless that our movie has made it third slot and our joy knew no bounds when our film title was displayed on screen,” says Vincent Praveen, line –producer of the film.

The music was scored by Kamran, and Deepak Reddy is the executive producer.
