Looks like Actress Sri Lekha aka Sri Reddy Mallidi is following the footprints of film critic Kathi Mahesh. Recently, in an interview to a leading channel she has made some sensational comments on Jana Sena Party President Pawan Kalyan.

In fact in the year start we heard many Hollywood celebrities come out in open about their sexual harassment experiences in the film industry and they have even formed a #Metoo campaign which is still trending on social networks. There were no such cases reported in Bollywood and none of the incidents have come out. But here we have Sri Lekha stating that casting couch in Telugu is a rality and they are not as pleasant as we might think. She has stated that to become an established actress or star her in the film industry they have to satisfy everyone from the director to the cameraman.

Moreover, our filmmakers are only in interested in Mumbai imports because they do not find Telugu girls beautiful, she mentioned. "Aren’t we beautiful and good looking? Aren’t we talented? Then why aren’t we being given opportunities,” she asked.

The irony is that our stars make heavy statements towards girls' empowerment, but in reality they go to any extent to find a footing in the film industry. In the course of expressing her anger, Sri Lekha took this opportunity to even attack Power star Pawan Kalyan and questioned him: Why he always chooses actress Samantha and Pranitha, but why not a Telugu girl.
