HYDERABAD: A TSRTC woman conductor committed suicide by hanging herself on Monday, October 28, allegedly upset over the government's attitude in the ongoing TSRTC strike.

According to the reports, Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) employee Neeraja (37) worked as a conductor in Sattupalli bus depo of Khammam district. Deeply offended by the government's attitude towards the strike, she committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence in Khammam.

In another incident, one more TSRTC employee Ramesh (37) who hails from Mal Village of Yacharam Mandal in Rangareddy district, working as a driver at the Mushirabad depot died of a heart attack on Wednesday.

TSRTC bus strike reached its 24th day on Monday. It has been escalating by the day, and all party leaders have been extending their support to TSRTC JAC employee unions and have been carrying out protests across the state.
