Veteran Journalist, Writer And Lyricist Srikanta Sarma No More

Hyderabad: Veteran journalist, writer and lyricist Indraganti Srikanta Sarma died here on Thursday. Sarma (75) had been unwell for some time and the end came in the early hours, sources close to him said. He died in his sleep.

Sarma's son Mohan Krishna is a prominent Telugu film director.

Sarma, who worked with the All India Radio, had also edited a Telugu magazine.

Some of the prominent works of Sarma as a writer include 'Malavika' and 'Aalapana'.

Sarma is survived by wife, son Mohan Krishna and a daughter, the sources added. (PTI)
