Pipeline Blasts At Hyderabad Chemical Factory, Nine Injured

Hyderabad: In a pipeline blast which took place at a chemical company, nine people sustained severe injuries.

The incident took place on Wednesday night Salicylates Chemical Company located in Mallapur area, which falls under the limits of Nacharam police station in Hyderabad. According to the Nacharam police, some splinters of the pipeline hit the workers at the site injuring nine of them, who were rushed to the hospital immediately for treatment.

Three of the nine injured persons are learned to be in a critical condition, while three others have been discharged after getting treated for minor injuries. A case has been registered by the police and further investigation is underway.
