BJP national secretary Muralidhar Rao alleged that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s decision to build a new secretariat was only to benefit contractors

New Delhi: BJP national secretary Muralidhar Rao alleged that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s decision to build a new secretariat was only to benefit contractors. He said a whopping Rs 6,000 crore worth Secretariat is being demolished in the process, leading to wastage of public money.

Speaking to press persons here on Thursday, he pointedly asked what was the reason for KCR to construct a new secretariat when he had never come to the State government administrative headquarters in years.

While 16 chief ministers of the united Andhra Pradesh had taken debt of Rs 69,000 crore, KCR alone had ballooned the debt of Telangana to Rs 1.80 lakh crore. With this, he said each individual in Telangana carried a debt of Rs 40,000 on their head.

Accusing KCR of running the State government in an undemocratic manner to whittle down the Opposition, he allged that the TRS had entered into a match-fixing with the Congress party in Telangana. He clarified that BJP was not a home to those politicians who were facing criminal cases against them.
