Hyderabad: With YSRCP coming to power in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao said both governments were working in tandem to resolve long pending interstate issues.

AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis would attend the inauguration of Kaleshwaram Project on June 21, he added.

He said AP government's decision to handover unused government buildings in Hyderabad to Telangana would augur well for the relationship between both sibling states. He said Telangana would continue to maintain cordial relationship with neighbouring states of AP, Karnataka, and Maharashtra.

Earlier, the Telangana State Cabinet held discussions on several key issues. KCR said the State government would build a new Assembly and Council buildings in Erramanzil in Hyderabad, while efforts would be made to protect the existing structure as heritage buildings. A foundation stone would be laid on June 27 for new State Secretariat in Hyderabad.
