KCR Pitches For Federal Front In Odisha, Kolkata, Mamata Banerjee In Favour

Kolkata: By the optics of it, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) appears to be making serious strides in his attempt to stitch up a non-BJP, non-Congress political front at the national stage. After having met his Odisha counterpart Naveen Patnaik on Sunday, KCR reached Kolkata today, to meet West Bengal CM and Trinamul Congress Chief Mamata Banerjee. He was welcomed to the State Secretariat by Didi, as she is fondly called. The two leaders will hold talks over floating the Federal Front.
Following his meeting with Mamata, KCR will seek blessings of Goddess Kali Maata at the Kali temple here. After the temple visit, he will be stop at New Delhi, where he will call on former UP CMs Akhilesh Yadav and Mayavati. KCR's visit to Kolkata after the West Bengal CM's absence in the swearing-in of the three Congress Chief Ministers gains prominence.
On Sunday, KCR visited the Puri Jagannath temple and the Konark Sun Temple along with family members.
