Hilarious Tweets On Sonia Gandhi’s Telangana Visit

UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi visited Telangana on Friday, the first time since the State was formed in June 2014. In a 20-minute address to a huge crowd in Medchal in Hyderabad, the former Congress president was fairly successful in striking a chord. She called on the people of the State to revive the glory of the grand old party by putting an end to the rule of KCR, whom she called a failed leader who cares for himself and his family.

Though Sonia appeared to have lost her hold over earlier aggressive speeches that revved up the masses, she surely succeeded in making an emotional connect with the crowd. "Did the TRS fulfil its promises? Did they bring Neellu, Nidhulu, Niyamakalu (Irrigation, Funds and Jobs)?" she asked.

While the Congress cadre was elated with the success of her visit, a section of people in social media ridiculed Sonia's allegation of KCR's family rule citing the legacy of the Gandhi family in Indian politics. Here are some of the funny tweets on Sonia Gandhi's Telangana visit:
